Our experience with this property management company raised significant concerns regarding maintenance oversight and tenant safety. During our tenancy, an independent evaluation identified mold contamination associated with the HVAC system. In the months leading up to that finding, we submitted multiple written maintenance requests describing ongoing moisture and indoor air quality concerns, along with supporting documentation. Despite these communications, the condition was not comprehensively investigated or remediated for approximately a year. Issues affecting indoor environmental quality warrant timely assessment and, when necessary, remediation consistent with established professional standards. The response we experienced did not reflect the level of urgency typically expected when potential habitability concerns are raised — particularly in a household with a young child. Tenants reasonably rely on property managers to address conditions that may impact the living environment in a prompt and thorough manner. Based on our experience, we encourage prospective renters to maintain detailed written records, request qualified evaluations when concerns arise, and ensure that any remediation work follows recognized industry guidelines. It is our hope that this feedback contributes to stronger preventative maintenance practices, improved responsiveness, and greater prioritization of tenant well-being.
